Planet Media provides Chinese audience connectivity for visiting Trade, Tourism and Government ministerial visits to China delivering positive international relationship messaging before and “as live” casts during such visits. A ministerial visit campaign by the State Government of Victoria delivered a Chinese social media audience of over 4 million hits.

The City of Gold Coast has featured a wide range of video and photo article content on Planet Media’s network in China promoting the city as an emerging international metropolis featuring its values as a liveable, eco-friendly, entertaining, business-oriented, and culturally focussed 21st century city. The media content for the City is being posted weekly on the Planet Media Multi-channel Social Media Network in China, effectively delivering over 30 million social media hits in the past year for the city.

Live from China. The Planet Media international media co-ordination team in association with their Shanghai Media Group partners have broadcast live from the Shanghai TV studios of Shanghai Media Group with a studio audience. This Social Media and Opinion Commentary program broadcast live internationally across Asia and Australia was a world first TV broadcast of its type.

Planet Media’s social media production team cast live scores and upload video shorts from sports events such as international games by the Shanghai Sharks Basketball team and visiting overseas football code games played in China such as the Australian Football League.

Planet Media’s executive team have been instrumental in developing original Children’s animation content for international co-production and distribution including projects with Disney China, and for investing in, and co-producing, family entertainment Reality Show programs with Chinese partners.

Planet Media’s team have successfully distributed Chinese blockbuster movies for overseas cinema release such as Shock Wave, Wolf Warrior, and Chinatown Detective, delivering overseas box office revenues for CMC Pictures. In Television Distribution, the team have curated and edited overseas TV content for broadcast on designated timeslots on the TV Channels of Shanghai Media Group, Beijing TV, Guangdong TV, Guangzhou TV, and Chengdu TV.
